I installed a second copy of Sierra Chart on the same computer, at D:\SierraChart-MI. It was version 2956 (Rev. 58332) first, then I reinstalled it as 2867 (Rev. 55540) to match my main copy. Every login attempt from this new installation ends with "Timeout error. There was no response." It happens even with a deliberately wrong password, so the server never answers. My main installation (C:\SierraChart, version 2867) on the same computer logs in normally with the same account, at the same time. What I have checked: - The new copy connects to login.sierrachart.com (67.214.125.14:443). The connection is established, nothing comes back for 30-55 seconds, and the program gives up. - Running it as administrator and adding a Windows Firewall allow rule made no difference. - The computer has no third-party firewall or antivirus (Windows Defender only), no proxy and no hosts-file entries. The same computer reaches login.sierrachart.com normally from other programs. - My main copy was closed during the first attempt, so the two copies are not clashing. Attempt times on 24 Sep 2026 (UTC): about 10:38-10:42, 11:19:58, 11:28, 11:33 and 11:35. Could you check your login server logs for these attempts and tell me what is holding logins from this new installation? Thank you. |
