You are not downloading 1 minute data. Even if your "Intraday Storage Time Unit" is set to 1 minute, you are still getting the tick-by-tick data, and then it is being stored on your local system as 1 minute data. As such, getting 11 years of 1 tick data can take awhile. We do not see any issue with it taking at least 20 minutes. And of course, it depends on your network connectivity and speed as to exactly how long it will take. Therefore, the general recommendation is to wait for the data to fully download and wait for the on-screen message to go away and the chart to load up. If you want to stop the download for some reason, then you can select "Edit >> Cancel Intraday Data Downloads". The "Days to Load for Intraday Chart Data Type" does not control the amount of data initially downloaded for a symbol. If you have never opened a chart for a specific symbol in the past, then the settings for "Maximum Historical Intraday Days to Load" is used. Refer to the following: Data/Trade Service Settings: Maximum Historical Intraday Days to Download (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings) Otherwise, to get more data in a chart, you would need to change the "Date Range in File From". Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Date Range in File From / To (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Data Limiting >> Date Range and Limiting Method) You have us curious as to how you specified that you wanted 11 years of data?
