Let's concontrate on what you are stating is the "Stop dead-reload". When you Stop the replay, you are saying that the charts are not reloading and getting back to their normal state showing all the data to the current time? Are you definitely selecting the "Stop" button on the Replay window? What exactly does the chart show in this case? Please get us an image of what you see after you stop the replay along with another image of what the chart should look like normally.
