Hello Sierra Chart Support, We are testing a read-only DTC client on the Delayed Trading Evaluator WebSocket endpoint wss://tradesimulation1.sierracharts.com:11095. On 8 September 2026 the server identifies as SC DTC Server, Build 58044, protocol version 8. For a newly created simulated USD account with TradingIsDisabled explicitly set to 1, we receive these values for the same account: - ACCOUNT_SETTINGS_RESPONSE (10116): TradingIsDisabled = 1. - TRADE_ACCOUNT_RESPONSE (401): TradingIsDisabled = 0. - ACCOUNT_BALANCE_UPDATE (600): TradingIsDisabled = 1. The cash balance is 0, IsUnderRequiredAccountValue is 1, and we have not submitted orders or balance adjustments. Our client currently refuses to declare a consistent inventory because the flags disagree. Do these three fields have different documented meanings on this service? Which fields should a client use to determine whether new orders are blocked, while retaining the configured account-level trading lock? Please clarify the protocol semantics only. Please do not enable trading, alter account settings or balances, or place any orders. Thank you. |
