What is the correct and reliable way to determine inside the Spreadsheet whether the current Renko brick is bullish or bearish?
This is up to you. In terms of how Sierra Chart is going to do it, it depends on how you have the Renko bars setup. Refer to the information at the following link for some insight into how this is done: Renko Bar Charts What is the best way to place an order immediately after a trading rule is fulfilled at the close of the last brick that confirms the rule, so that the order is placed at the open of the next brick, without using ACSIL?
With the option for "Signal Only on Bar Close" set to "Yes", you should be getting the order placed when the next brick opens, assuming that your condition is still true at that time. Are you not seeing this as being the case? If not, then what exactly is occurring?
