When you enter an order on the DOM, it is going to use the attached orders that are setup in the Trade Window for that chart. But, it will NOT create an initial bracket order that you have setup in the Trade Window for the parent order. This is because on the DOM, you are deciding to enter a specific order type as defined in "Trade >> Chart DOM Settings >> Order Types". If you want to have a bracker order, then you would need to enter that order from the Trade Window.
