This is quite interesting, as I did find what is occurring. It turns out that I just happened to have a chart with the Main Price Graph set to "Independent", which was the test chart I was working with. Turns out that this is the last piece to the puzzle. So both the Main Price Graph and the Volume study need to be set to "Independent" in order to have the Volume study not adjust with the Main Price Graph. But, even with it set this way, we do see that when you "Reset" the scales for the Main Price Graph, the Volume study will also reset and fill the screen. You can partially remediate this by setting the "Default Padding Percentage" for the Volume Study to a value such as 60 or 70. But, when you reset, this will help to keep the bars at a certain height, but the center of the scale will move up such that 0 is in the center of the window. Therefore, in the end, there is no perfect solution. The best option is to use a separate Region.
