You are using the term "Studies", but we think you are referring to charts. The order in which the charts will come up when you open Sierra Chart is set through "Window >> Windows and Chartbooks". Within a chartbook, the chart that is at the top of that list will be opened last, and will therefore be "on top". We are not sure what you are referring to in terms of "detaching a study".
