I have a sell position and I then during the trade I move the the original target lower. Price then moves above my entry but my new target then moves back to the original target level. Unfortunately, price then moves sharply lower taking out my original target level. Price then proceeds downward to the new target price that has been deleted due to the prior action. Is there any other way to prevent this other than initially setting the original target level lower or re-entering the trade? Or is this an exchange-related reset action based on the original trade entry? Thanks!
