your suggestion to "change the tick size back to the default for the symbol you are using" is not a workable solution for 2 reasons: (1) the whole point of changing the tick size is to show fewer price levels, and (2) the "ticks per volume bar" setting cannot be changed to anything other than "1" on a VbP on a trade DOM.
Follow the exact steps listed in the post above, then adjust the scale and grid to match. If you had ticksize set to 1.0 (for 4 ticks) then set: - Volume At Price Multiplier (in chart settings) to 4 - Market Depth Combine Increment to 4 - Scale Range to 4x what normally fits in the window - Scale Increment to 1.0 - Horizontal Grid Line Increment to 1.0 You have fewer price levels, i.e. round numbers, and VBP is automatically matched. It works, I am looking at an NQ chart combined into 1pt increments now. |
