Hello everyone!
With 4 SC instances, strong single-core still matters most, but a Ryzen 9 9950X/X3D gives excellent multitasking and overall smoother performance.
I am about to build my new trading station and I came across this post because I am looking for some answer about the choice of the CPU. I run 4 different instances of SC, one per monitor. From SC "manual", I read that the best performance is obtained with CPUs that perform well on single core, for example, one of them being the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K (latest). However, my question is: if I run 4 different instances of SC to distribute the loads, do I still need to think in terms of performance on single core, or do I have to think more about performance on multicore? Because this open the possibility to shift from Intel to AMD with its Ryzen 9 9950X or X3D, which perform best on multi-core. I am not a geek expert though so I don't know how to properly interpret this info. Hope someone can help me out! The story reminded me of how I wanted to play games, but I had a very weak computer. Then a friend recommended https://agentifyai.org/deposit-1-get-20-nz/ to me and I decided to try it. The games I found there were really playable even on a weak computer. Thanks in advance!
