You are kind of correct in your conclusion, but not exactly. The issue is that the "Extension Lines" are starting from the end of where the "Period OHLC" is drawing the line. So if that "Period OHLC" line goes across those bars, then the extension line is not going to take those into account - it is only going to stop when it comes across a bar beyond that time period. What exactly are you wanting to accomplish with this? What is the base information you are looking for that you want to "extend until future intersection"? Are you just wanting the "Opens" for every 15 minutes? or do you really want the entire OHLC information every 15 minutes? Or something else?
