If you want to backtest from December 14, 2025 to January 9, 2026, then your chart needs to have the data for those dates loaded. To get those specific dates, you would need to use the Data Loading method of "Date Range From/To". Refer to the following:
Chart Settings: Load Data Limiting Method: Date Range >> Date Range From / To (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Data Limiting >> Load Data Limiting Method: Date Range menu)

And make sure you have the symbol you really want for that time period, or that you are using a Continuous Futures Contract - if that is what you want. Refer to the following:
