However, for native CL butterfly-style symbols such as: `CL:BF M26-N26-Q26.FUT_SPREAD.NYMEX` or similar CL butterfly expressions, Sierra allows the symbol to be selected/typed, but the chart/DOM cannot load and I see messages such as: `Symbol settings not found for current service` Also, DTC security definition responses for these butterfly expressions are minimal and do not include fields such as MinPriceIncrement, CurrencyValuePerIncrement, Description, or SecurityExpirationDate.
It is a fair amount of work for us to determine what the issue is with this. 1. Are CL butterflies unavailable in Trading Evaluator - Delayed but available through a live Teton/Denali broker connection? Will not be tradable with either.2. If native CL butterflies cannot be charted, can they still be traded through DTC/Teton, or should they be considered unsupported? They need to be considered unsupported.3. For automation, should I restrict Sierra/DTC trading to native calendar spreads only unless a butterfly symbol returns full symbol settings and full security definition fields? Yes calendar spreads only.
