Typically, if the Message Log is opening, then there is an important message in the log. You should see why the Message Log is opening when you are not expecting it to be. But, if you want to set it to not show, then refer to the following: General Settings Window: Never Automatically Open Message Log or Trade Service Log (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Log >> Log) -- Please start a new thread for your questions, as this is a 5 year old posting.
