We assume you are referring to the display in the Trading DOM. The reason you will not see the study showing in the Trading DOM right away is that the Trading DOM does have a sense of time/bars, even though they are not displayed or visible. Therefore, when the study is showing in the Chart, but not in the Trading DOM, it's because the Trading DOM does not have that particular time in the display. You would need to change the Bar Spacing in the Trading DOM (Page Up/Page Down) in order to compress the time scale in the Trading DOM to bring the times from the source chart into view in the Trading DOM.
