Sierra Chart should never require a reboot of your system. We are not sure who "they" are that you are referring to, but it sounds like "they" are the people that run the hosting for your VPS, and it sounds like they were stating that your system was inoperable, not that Sierra Chart was inoperable. Therefore, they rebooted your system. This also sounds like typical Microsoft Windows situations, where the system needs to be rebooted due to MS Windows.
