We cannot say for sure, why there was a change of the Trade and Current Quote Symbol. There is no logging which gives any clear indication of that. We would think it would be most likely due to using Chart Linking and linking the Symbol and/or the Trade/Quote Symbol: Chart Settings: Chart Linking (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Linking menu) So we recommend never linking the symbol. Disable both of these linking options in every chart. This is also another setting to check: Chart Settings: Clear Trade and Current Quote Symbol on Symbol Change (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading menu) It definitely could not be related to this: , presumably when I copied one drawing from a chart to another.
