ok mate thanks for this. The home pc is not connected so that's not the issue. I went over your link earlier today ( I promise you John I exhaust everything before I write to you). I have been with my mom who is ill, so I will try again tomo morning to go over that permission denied. I knew I had set it up ok, but was hoping I had made a dumb mistake so it could be easily solved. thanks for all your help. karen |
