The following is the issue: 2026-04-07 15:59:33.712 | Rithmic Direct - DTC | Logon error received from server: permission denied
One thing to keep in mind is that you can only have 1 connection to Rithmic at a time with Sierra Chart. So if your home computer is connected, then you will NOT be able to connect from your laptop. If not the above, then everything we know about how to resolve the "Permission Denied" error from Rithmic is covered at the following link: Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Permission Denied Resolution Procedure As noted in the section linked above, the error is from Rithmic. We have no control over it. The suggestions in that section come from what we have heard from our customers on different things that have worked for them. But, in the end, the error is with Rithmic to fix. We have told them they have a continuing issue with this, but they have not fixed it.
