I have been noticing very delayed startup of Sierra v2882 ( actually before that, but that is what I am running now), and intense data lag during large volume news events. I am using Sierra's Teton data and Dorman as a broker. I have used Sierra for many years, I can't remember when I started but maybe 2015? And throughout I have just added to my Chartbook, added to my ACS .cpp files, created custom .dll files, created numerous ACS buttons and functions, etc. I want to preserve that information as much as possible, but am feeling like a clean install of Sierra Chart might be the best way to see what the issue is. I have read about the files I need to to save and what they do. But still nervous :) Any advice on; 1) Making sure this re-install is clean and unaffected by my existing install, and 2) the order of adding files back to Sierra before I start? |
