I am aware of these features. Study Collections with the optional 'Prompt to Remove Existing Studies' can only add a new study to the existing set. This necessarily assigns a new ID to the added study. If for any reason (e.g. reference in a spreadsheet) you need keep the ID, you cannot use this, unless you are willing to keep multiple copies of the study in the same chart. This is a poor solution. Custom Default Study Settings only apply when adding a new study. It has no effect on existing studies in a chart. In summary, these are no real solutions, not even workarounds. My requested feature should not be difficult to implement. This is a pretty simple to code marshalling/unmarshalling operation. |
