Looking at that chart image... Despite being incredibly busy it looks like he's just using the main sierra chart window with all the charts attached (as opposed to detaching the individual charts) with each chart's title bar hidden. Working With Charts: Chart Title Bar Other than that it's probably just a matter of re-sizing each chart window and positioning them so the borders overlap perfectly. I can appreciate the symmetry, it definitely took lots of time to get those charts aligned so perfectly. There's also a customized control bar at the top with the status bar and all those colored buttons. If I had to guess, watching the way he quickly toggles between the individual charts he's probably using keyboard shortcuts also. Basically it takes lots of time with sierracharts to get familiar with everything it can do. There's no substitute for figuring it out on your own by reading the documentation & experimenting. Just save a copy of your chartbook as "experimental" or some such and play around with that one so you don't lose the layout you started with. |
