A direct connection is going to usually be better. To answer the question, yes these are going to be better higher bandwidth Internet connections because they are in data centers and not end-user Internet connections : Does the connection between Chicago and DS14-2 use a more professional/higher-priority/reliable route/equipment than I would achieve as a consumer using my direct connection to DS28?
