You are on a release that has been "locked out" for some reason. Meaning that there was an issue with that release, so you can not use it. The message "The request for the installer program MD5 has been made" means that the installation program was set to run. Therefore, you should have been notified that the version you were running was locked out and that you needed to update to the latest release.
