Hi, sorry I have another question. Is it possible to use the CME data feed on one Sierra Chart instance on a PC and the COMEX data feed on another Sierra instance on a different PC (a separate VPS) without activating the “2 systems” option? Thanks.
This will not work. It doesn't matter what data you are accessing at which computer, it is all part of the same feed, so you would have to pay for a second set of exchange fees to do this. Refer to the following: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Denali Exchange Data Feed on Two Computers Simultaneously I also tried connecting Sierra on my VPS, but it keeps saying the data is delayed even though no other instances are connected. What should I check? Thank you.
The first thing to check is the setting for "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds". This needs to be set to "Yes". If it is set to "No" and you change it to "Yes", then after you close that window, you need to select "File >> Reconnect" to update your connection and start getting the real-time data. If not the above, then we would need to see your Message Log from the system having the issue. Follow these instructions to get us the log: Support Board Posting Information: How to Post Your Message Log (Required In Some Cases) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
