One of the things we are not understanding is why the subgraph is changing between the two formulas. If they are both referencing the same study type (i.e. both are Numbers Bars Calculated Values) then the actual subgraph that is being referenced will be the same. So we do not understand how it goes from SG1 to SG10.

The only reason for something like this is if you are using a "Study Subgraph Reference" as a "middle man" somewhere.

Otherwise, as cmet points out, the only other we can see for an issue would be the "Displacement" setting. Refer to the following:
