Hello, greetings 👋

I've spent the last few hours browsing through topics on the support board, focusing on the Reward Risk tool in Sierra Chart.

I found that there is a huge demand for this tool to be redesigned based on the TradingView model. However, I was unable to find the Sierra Chart developers' position on this.

The responses only mention that we can use the Price Projection, Price Retracement, or Price Expansion tools, which can mimic the RR tool's functionality to a certain extent, but it's not the same, and several things are missing.

First, what is the problem with the current Reward Risk tool?

The tool itself fulfills its function and displays the information that traders expect from it. However, its graphical representation does not provide traders with an easy visual comparison of risk and reward. Simply put, it lacks boxes for risk and reward, which are very easy to interpret. TradingView developers understood this, which is why their Risk Reward tool has become so popular.

I also find the logic of the tool's plotting, as used by TradingView, more intuitive.

In Sierra Chart, the user must use the tool in this order:

1. Select the stop loss level
2. Select the entry level
3. Select the profit target level

TradingView Logic:

1. Select the entry level
2. Select the profit target or stop loss
3. Select the profit target or stop loss

It may be just a detail, but if the tool were to be redesigned, it would be more logical to modify it according to what is currently considered standard and what users are generally accustomed to.

I found several users who decided to modify the original Reward Risk tool using indicators. See these links:

- Trade tool as in TradingView | Post: 387598
- Trade tool as in TradingView | Post: 434057
- Trade tool as in TradingView | Post: 437077

However, this solution requires Sierra Chart users to insert the indicator into each chart where they want to use the modified RR tool. In addition, they must have OpenGL enabled. In my opinion, this is a rather inconvenient solution, but if you really want to work with a better version of the RR tool, you have no other choice.

In any case, these indicators show that it is possible to customize the tool to make it more convenient to work with.

My request is therefore: Could you please redesign this tool to make it as close as possible to how it works in TradingView?

BTW, I want to thank you very much for what you do and for listening to your customers. I really appreciate that you consider and implement our suggestions for improving the Sierra Chart platform.
