We have not had any other reports of anything like this, and we have not seen it ourselves. Our best guess is that maybe you have the following setting set to "Yes" now, but you did not previously: Chart Drawing Tools: Use Common Drawing Tool for Charts (Global Settings >> Tool Settings >> General >> Tool Options) Otherwise, we really do not have any idea what may be occurring. But, if you continue to have this issue, we would need to know if it is just the shape of the cursor that is changing, or is the actually selected tool changing? In other words, if you have the tool set to "Pointer" and then it changes, if you select the "Tools" menu, is "Pointer" still the selected tool, or is the "Crosshairs" tool now selected?
