So by 46 markers, if the tick is .25, you're saying it'll only track 11.50 points? (11.5 x .25 = 46)
No, not quite. You will get 46 markers, so whatever range takes up that number of markers. A marker is only used when the Volume Threshold is met. So then are you saying the Vol at Threshold Alert V2 basically wont work for a daily chart? (Unless the day only moves 11.5 pts which is unlikely)
Is there a plan to fix that? We are saying that if you are looking for markers in a situation where there are going to be more than 46 per bar, then this will not give you what you want. There is no plan to change this. Is there a work around? I know you might say, separate the day into hourly bars or something like that, but that wont give me cumulative for that Price level for the days an alert, only the numbers (BVxAV) (or you might say edit the ticks to min 1.75 increments that would give the alert for the whole 80 pt day. But then Id have an almost 2 point range for the alert? Not very exact)
What you state would be the workarounds. There is nothing else we can think of for this. I just thought of something. Since my goal is to see when at the market extremes the Ask (or Bid) exceeds a Vol of 250. Is there a way, or would it work to do the opposite print?
The study is not setup to do this. -- The only option you would have is to create a custom study that is somehow able to do what you want. But, the system has a limitation of 60 subgraphs for a study, so we are not certain how you would accomplish what you are wanting. Perhaps by using drawings to place the markers instead of the subgraphs.
