Hi Sierra Chart Support, I’m trying to connect to Rithmic in Sierra Chart using Rithmic credentials that were issued through Bookmap (I purchased the Rithmic data/access via Bookmap). Sierra Chart returns a “Permission Denied” error when I attempt to connect. Bookmap support reviewed my case and advised that this may be related to Sierra not supporting Rithmic usernames/passwords that are 32 characters or longer, and that I should contact Sierra directly. Could you please confirm: Whether Sierra Chart’s Rithmic service has a 32-character limit for the Rithmic username and/or password (or any similar credential length limitation), and If so, what the recommended solution is on Sierra’s side?
