Because if I do set it Based on Main Graph, I only have certain options (Open,High, Low,etc) but no VH or VL option?
From what you state previously, you have the "Output When Condition True" set to "Study Subgraph Reference". Therefore, in the "Study Subgraph Reference Value When True" you should be selecting the "Volume by Price" study with the appropriate subgraph you want to use. This should be working properly for you and give you the price of the subgraph for those bars where the alert is true.
