We are not understanding your logic for the "Based On". Since you are using an "Output When Condition True" of "Study Subgraph Reference", you do not need to have the "Based On" set to the Volume by Price study. You can select that item with the Based On set to the "Main Price Graph". The "Based On" defines what the "Extend Until Future Intersection" is going to intersect with. If you have the "Based On" set to the "Volume at Price" study and the "Study Subgraph Reference" set to a Value Area, then the intersection is looking for another Value Area intersection, which will almost never occur. But if you have the "Based On" set to the "Main Price Graph" then the intersection will look for a bar intersection, which it sounds like you want.
