Do I need to have a funded live futures trading account connected in Sierra Chart with a supported trading service to qualify for the reduced CME exchange fees?
Yes. If so, can this requirement be satisfied by opening and funding a futures account through Optimus Futures, using a supported backend such as CQG or Rithmic, and connecting that account to Sierra Chart (even if I trade primarily in simulation)?
Yes. Once this requirement is met, can Sierra Chart then be switched back to SC Data / Denali while still retaining access to the reduced-cost real-time CME data?
Yes. When you make the connection, your "Verified Until" date updates to 30 days in the future. This date must be in the future in order to get the real-time data. It does not matter what service you are connected to, the date just needs to be in the future. You can view this date at the following link: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed#Exchanges Also refer to the following for information/instructions to connect one a month to your live trading account: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Connecting Only Once a Month to Trading Account to Support CME Group Exchange Fees For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
