Our guess is that you are rolling over based on Volume. The April (J) contract is trading a much higher volume than the February (G) contract, so from a Volume perspective, you should be going to April. But you should not have an issue opening a chart for the G contract, although you will be notified that you should rollover due to Volume (if you are setup for this).
