We see the following in this log: 2026-01-26 17:04:23.140 | HD Request # 131 | Error downloading historical Daily data for ESM14_FUT_CME. Max downloads per month exceeded. Downloads = 5262. Monthly Limit: 5000
There is a limit of 5000 daily historical downloads per month. You have hit this limit. Refer to the information at the following link: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ServicesActivation#AdditionalHistoricalDownloads This occurs due to having requests go out for daily data. If you are often exiting from Sierra Chart and have a lot of daily chart for multiple products, then this would be why it is adding up. One way to avoid the multiple requests is to keep Sierra Chart running. This also means, do not allow your computer to go into Sleep or Hibernate mode, as this causes the same result as if you exited Sierra Chart and restarted it - where the system is going to request the daily data, since it does not know if it is up to date at that point. You can set the option to add an additional 50000 additional downloads for the month at the link above at a cost of $25.00. Given how close we are to the end of the month, you may just want to wait until February 1, 2026, but this would mean that you will not be able to get any additional daily data until then. If you do activate this now (January 26, 2026), then you can also immediately deactivate it, so you do not pay again for next month. You will still have the additional downloads for the rest of January.
