With the new setting "Minimum Delay Between Chart Updates in Milliseconds" in 2867, SC timers are still inferior to OS timers when it comes to getting the fastest chart updates possible and maintaining UI responsiveness. It appears the lowest you can set this setting to is 5ms, and even with that, the chart updates MUCH slower than with OS timers. I can't speak for everybody, but hands down SC performs the best for me and the several systems I have run SC on with OS timers. And I'll take the chart not updating when dragging it around all day vs having slower chart updates or UI unresponsiveness. I am not willing to compromise chart update speed or UI responsiveness, so I cannot use SC timers in their current implementation. Just wanted to give feedback on this latest release. Thank you. |
