We are getting a little confused by the wording that is being used. When we use the term "Pointer" that refers to the thing that is drawn by the operating system to show you the location where when you click, it will perform some action based on that location. It is not a specific item. The pointer can be drawn using different styles, and the styles can be defined in the Operating System. By default, in Sierra Chart, the pointer is an arrow most of the time, and specifically when the Tool selection is set to "Pointer". When the tool selection is a Crosshair then the default operating system selection is a plus sign. Also, Sierra Chart has an option for "Global Cursor" which allows the crosshairs (just the lines across the chart) to be displayed on all charts at the same time at the price and time where they are displayed on the main chart at that time. As such, you can see the crosshairs displayed on another chart. This is controlled by "Tools >> Global Cursor On". There is also a "Symbol Cursor" that will only show the crosshairs across charts with the same symbol. Given all of this, it sounds like you are stating that the Arrow is showing in the detached chart with the crosshairs. What occurs when the current tool is set to "Pointer"? Is this only an issue when using the crosshairs? Is "Global Cursor On" enabled or disabled?
