You have the Crosshairs selected as the active tool. And you turn on the crosshairs so you are seeing those on the proper chart. But in the detached chart you are seeing what exactly? Are you seeing the "plus" sign that signifies the crosshair pointer? Or are you seeing the crosshairs themselves? Or both? Or something else?
