Good to hear about 2855 and above working with wine/linux. Just updated to wine 11, Mint 22.3 and SC 2862 and will be testing. There were a few non-wine window issues prior to 2862 but they have been resolved. Oddly OpenGL is not working with Wine 11 and SC (blank screens for all charts). Wine 10 worked without any OpenGL issues. Turning off OpenGL and restarting and everything is working now. I have submitted a bug report https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59246 These newer versions of SC seem to be using much less memory and lower CPU utilization! Latest configuration: SierraChart Version 2862 64 bit (2 instances) Wine 11.0 Mint Linux 22.3/Cinnamon desktop Kernel 6.14.0-37 generic AMD Ryzen 7 3800X GeForce GTX 1660 Nvidia/6 GB GDDR5/Driver 580.95.05/OpenGL Dual Monitors 1920X1080 60 Hz for both monitors Total System RAM: 16 Gig Memory usage: <275 Meg for each instance..very low! CPU Utilization: <3% for each instance..very low! Also, stable between CPU usage...equal CPU sharing. 28 Charts, 4 instruments and 4 ADR symbols (ES, YM, NQ, RTY, ADR-YM, ADR-TF, ADR-NASDAQ, ADR-SP) Denali data-feed with MBO data Teton Order Routing with Stage5/Advantage and Ironbeam Rithmic for trader evaluations and PA accounts RealVNC for remote access Updated 1/14/26 Date Time Of Last Edit: 2026-01-14 22:14:43
