In earlier versions (I believe around 2752) this situation did not exist. I could simply minimize or restore a single chart and my previously arranged tiled layout stayed exactly as it was. In the current version (2862), as soon as I maximize even one chart, the entire layout gets reset. The title bars disappear, the tiled arrangement is lost, and when I return from the maximized view I have to manually arrange all charts again from scratch. This makes it impossible to temporarily focus on one chart and then return to the existing multi-chart layout. Because of that, this feels less like an intentional workflow change and more like something that has clearly broken compared to how MDI behavior worked in earlier versions.
