Regarding this thread: OS Timers vs SC Timers discussion again... SC Timers chart update limitations We have shown the extreme speed of Sierra Chart and responsiveness, even with Sierra Chart timers. Completely refuting, the user post. Although you really do not see, the extreme speed in the videos we provide, because the update interval of Sierra Chart is far faster than the video capture interval. We are using Windows 7 versus Windows 11. Maybe that is the reason why we are getting much better update performance. We are not sure. So does this prove Windows 11 is terrible? Not really sure. Certainly windows 11 is terrible. But is it really bad in other ways including, overall performance. Not sure what to say. Clearly we are doing much better, with older hardware and windows 7, as compared to what the user is demonstrating with a high-performance AMD system with windows 11.
