Debian 13 wine 10.0 SC2849 Note: What I describe below is not a new problem. It existed as far as I can think back, i.e. even before SC2700. And it also existed on Debian 11, 12 and Ubuntu 22.04, 24.04, all using the GNOME desktop, and with wine 9.x. It is not a hard problem, but an annoyance. In view of the current re-programming of the GUI, maybe this issue can also be fixed. What can be observed is as follows: After the login window, SC starts with a maximized main window. If I open a chartbook with charts (or create a new chartbook and open a chart window), the chart window tabs at the bottom of the screen are slightly offset downward (see attached screenshots). But it is not just these tabs. It is really everything in the main window that is "offset downward". This is not visible, i.e. the top of the main window with the menu bar and status bar looks normal, but when I try to click on any item, it can be observed that these clicks act as being "offset upward", e.g. I can click on a button although the mouse pointer tip is not hovering above the button, or, to the other edge, the mouse pointer tip is on the button, but clicks have no effect. The situation can be resolved by 1) de-maximizing the SC main window and 2) maximizing the SC main window again. After that the effect is gone. I have no idea what is causing this effect. |
