Just one point to note, if you opt for hiding the window when minimized, and then restore it from the MDI tab, you might also want to disable (set to No) this option: "Global Settings > General Settings > GUI > Destroy Chart Windows When Hidden" I had it enabled, when minimizing the windows they would get closed/removed when hidden.
