We want to apologize. It is come to our attention about two days ago that there has been an inaccuracy of about 180 ms with our NTP server. This is now resolved, and we are working on understanding, why this has happened. It does relate to, the highly accurate timecard in the server, not communicating with the server itself. Something to do with one of the network adapter ports on the card itself. We are not sure, where the fault is . The supplier of the timecard, faults the Intel driver but we are not so sure about that. This is quite an expensive piece of hardware and we really want it to work, but if in the end, it just continues to be ongoing trouble we may just abandon it. Our NTP server will still be accurate though. We would like it to have accuracy below 100 µs but if we cannot achieve that, it will still be accurate to within a millisecond. The timecard is capable of even more accuracy but because it does not have a direct GPS signal, it is less accurate. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
