unless i go in and reconfigure my chart to have more than 30 days worth of data for all my charts. is this just how the replay function works?
Yes, this is exactly how the replay works. You must have the data already loaded in the chart for how far back you want to star the replay. For what you are wanting to do, you would need to load the data for the chart to replay. Or, an easier solution, would be to have a duplicate chart that has the large number of days loaded, and then hide that chart until you want to run the replay, and then run the replay on that chart.
