The Numbers Bars study is a tradeoff of the amount of data you are viewing versus what you can actually view comfortably. In other words, there is no perfect situation that will apply across the board. You need to adjust your scaling based on the particular information at that time and what you want to view. That said, refer to the following for some general information on scaling the Numbers Bars: Numbers Bars: Scaling a Numbers Bars Chart In terms of zooming, if you want the font to stay the same, then make sure you are not using the option for "Font Size Mode" of "Automatic with Minimum/Maximum Limits".
