You are using a "Constant Range" scale with a Mode of "Keep Last Bar Within View". As such, your chart will always keep the last bar displayed in the chart (the one farthest to the right) to be centered (or wherever you have put it if you have moved the scale). This will cause the other bars to adjust to keep that most recent bar in that position. Try using the "Automatic" scaling instead of Constant Range and see if that is more to your liking. Or try some of the other settings and see what works best for how you want to work.
