Chart Drawing Tools: Manage Chart Drawings I guess we should update the docs on this page to include the following items: Copy Edit Symbol Edit Text Copy was added around here: Export Chart Drawings? It allows us to get a text version of the data shown on the lines selected. So it is not the same as Edit>Copy Chart Drawing and this is why there is no paste option. Hope that clarifies if anybody has some confusion about Copy. They offer Duplicate, but that will not get the object to the clipboard nor to another chart. The documentation on that page points the user to the automatic copy method and makes no mention of the new Edit>Copy Chart Drawing method. The other two options are probably self-documenting, but it might be good to note in the docs that these are very useful for tools that have no text input typically like Pitchforks. I use this regularly to label mine. Very helpful. |
