Fabio, Focus on single core performance. If you run 4 instances, SierraChart only uses 4 cores. Ryzen 9 9950X has 16 cores, 12 of them will not be used by SierraChart, so multi-core performance is meaningless. About Intel CPU : They use a mix of Performance-Core and Efficiency-Core. SierraChart instances must run on Performance-Core. Keep in mind that Windows 11 uses 2 performance cores to run its background tasks (on my PC it's like this, maybe it's different somewhere else) It means that to run 4 instances, it is best to have a CPU with at least 6 performance cores (2 for Windows tasks, 4 for SierraChart) Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-10-22 15:33:00
